Hiked up the King Canyon Trail to Sweetwater Saddle, then returned by way of the old mine road southeast of the trail. This road eventually dumps into King Canyon Wash near the Mam-A-Gah picnic area. From there it was back to the car on the standard route. I rarely use this old road and it made for a nice loop alternative to going all the way up to Wasson Peak. The cacti were the highlight today.
