I wanted to get one more hike in for the weekend since it will be getting hot before long.

Parked at Mining Camp Restaurant and headed up. I was actually wanting to do a little exploring since my husband was with me this time so if I fall and break my neck he could rescue me! Ha ha!

I had seen what I thought was a natural arch on a previous hike off to the left of the trail and wanted to check it out. FYI- it is not an arch, I repeat NOT an arch. Darn. It was a bit of a scramble up the hill but we explored a bit more then made our way back to the trail.

Made it to the basin and called it good for the day! My husband really loved it up there and wants to go back and do Flatiron....we shall see!
