I've had my eye on this one for some time now, but the roads kept me at bay. Sam asked me to join him and Kelly and I couldn't say no. Thanks for having me along, guys!

A bit on the warm side coming up, but that was expected. The scenery reminded me of Harquahala's summit trail, specifically the height of the mountains. Highlights for me trail-wise were the sections along/near the crest of the ridge, and the last half mile to the peak. It's some really fun terrain.
The distant views from the peak were obstructed by haze. I imagine they would be awesome on a clear day. Nevertheless, the views of the mighty Estrella Mountains were awesome (especially on the drive out). Hopefully I'll be hiking out there again sometime soon.
