The objective was Lower La Barge box - a box canyon that is a cross-country hike off Boulder Canyon trail. Got a late start and got worried we wouldn't have enough light. Made it to appx 1 mile of the Lower La Barge box. To get to the box, you take Boulder Canyon Trail to where it crosses La Barge Creek. Hike up the creek between Battleship Mountain on the right and Geronimo's Head on the left towards a pyramid shaped rock in the distance. The hike along the creek bed was slow. Boudler Canyon Trail has great views of Weaver's Needle, Battleship Mountain, and Canyon Lake. We made the 2 mile drive to Tortilla Flat to get some ice cream after the hike.
