Tough rolling out of bed this morning at 4am, but I did it. Feet on the ground at Mining Camp TH at 4:33am. Made it to the basin at my usual 35 minutes pace. Stopped to breathe for a few seconds and continued on. The bees are still buzzing all the way up. Just keep moving and they don't seem to care. Well, every now and then I will get a close-up fly-by warning.

Reached the nose of the Flatiron 88 minutes after I started. The sun was just starting to peek over the spires which lit up the Century plants nicely. Took a few pics and after about a 3 minute break I started back down the mountain.

Saw 8 other hikers coming up while I was on my way down. No one higher than the bowl. I love the solitude of having this place to my self for most of the way. Back at the car at 7:03am.
