Another fun hike in the Supes. Denny and I had never had Reavis Apples. I was out of town for JJIII's excursion and Turbo-whitelegs-tortoise was looking for willing volunteers for a Monday hike. I missed the early pm from him saying it was pouring rain at his house and we all met at the Home Depot for some remodeling supplies I mean to carpool. My driving although debatable in previous comments and posts usually from Bruce must not be that bad because Denny did not get sick on the way in or out on the rough sections. The hike in was chilly and wet and Joe found a Machete which scared the rest of us on the trip. The tour of Reavis by Teva Joe B. was worth listening to him wax poetic about his wet feet and the skin that would fall off his fragile feet. The apples according to the expert were far an away the most plentiful ever so get them while the getting is good and they are good. Lots of Bear poop no bear spottings as I'm sure the were scared by my really threatening menacing sidekick Muesli who also enjoyed the apples. It was nice to get out into the Supes and almost forget we are in AZ. because of the temps. Good to see you Joe before my daughter made it to college and very nice finally meeting Denny who despite what Joe said is still probably one of the nicest guys on the trail.

I'm pretty sure Joe was the back up stunt double for Danny Trejo in the movie Machete where Danny finally gets a starring role and Steven Segal, Jessical Alba, and Robert De Niro are the supporting cast. A must see.
