HELLSGATE 37(N) TO TONTO CREEK. Hiking =14.3 miles 3,705 Accumulated Elevation Gain. 5 hrs 45 minutes. Playing at the creek = priceless ( no really 2 hours 1.6 miles up creek and down creek plus lunch)

Beautiful day - great hike. An Arizona Outdoor Travel Club "A" hike led by legendary leader Don Mowry. Water was flowing nicely but creek was crossable. Water was too cold today for this Arizona boy. Very strenuous climb out from the creek on horrendous scree. This would be a brutal hike in hot weather.
