I expected to see one of the towers on top of the peak get hit by lightning any second while I was up there. (and there I was with aluminum hiking poles) Start early in the day to avoid thunderstorms. It would have been a perfect day, had a rabbit not decided to jump through the grill of my truck at 40 mph on the way down the mountain that night.
