This area is incredibly beautiful in a fairy tale sort of way. The rolling meadows were filled with lush green grass and a large assortment of flowers. The trail follows the creek for a good portion of the hike and then wanders up into the pine trees. This was a great trail for the dog, too. If you haven't done this one yet....add it to your list, well worth the drive from the valley.
