This was an enjoyable hike. took my 12 yo son. he enjoyed most of it. we started from the old bull pen ranch trailhead. the area between the 3rd and 4th creek crossing was a little tedious and hot but once we reached the last creek crossing we pitched camp and spent two wonderful days by the water. not a lot of comfortable tent areas make sure you have a good sleeping mat.

I was prepared for the floating that is mentioned on all the trail reviews but there weren't any areas that were very deep. stupid drought anyway.
