    We did a 3-day backpack from the Bill Hall TH down to Deer Creek (one night there) and then over to Thunder River and Tapeats Creek (more pics under this hike name). Stayed the second night on the edge of the Esplanade and awoke to the rising sun over the canyon before us. Being a lover of waterfalls, canyons and creeks, this was probably the best backpacking/ hike I have ever experienced! : ) What an amazing place. I plan on getting back there next season to canyoneer through the narrows of Deer Creek and over the Falls
