I hadn't hiked from this TH in over a decade and now I remember why. This area isn't terribly scenic compared with the rest of the Supes and with the sun rising, most of the scenic cliffs are washed out or in the shadows. But this made a descent enough Sunday morning hike. I'm glad I checked it out this way first other than throwing a whole Saturday at it and expanding it into a larger loop. This trail is also very popular with horse lovers.
