Title this hike Winter Wonderland. I figured there would be a dusting of snow on the trail. Did not expect to find 4-5". especially on the upper portion of the trail. Tough going in places. Kind of eerie too with all the snow falling out of the trees. Strange vegetation patterns on the road section. It's weird to see cactus on one side of the road, then pines on the other. Overall, a great hike!
