I just did the standard on-trail exploring b/c these days we only have 10 hours of daylight. I hiked it counter-clockwise and had a very enjoyable experience viewing and passing by Miners Needle, Buzzards Roost, Dripping Springs, Red Tanks Canyon, Coffee Flat Mountain, and the Upper La Barge Box. The trail got a tad thin in sections and requires some route finding, but nothing too challenging. The had signs of some recent trail maintance, but you'll still into many sections of thick brush. Sometimes it's just easier to stay in the canyons if you know the trail has to cross back over again. This route is fairly flat with only a few sections of obvious elevation gain. The red tanks/dripping springs area is an awesome place to take a cat nap after a late night. 8)
