Littly chilly on this January morning, but I've turned into a cold weather wuss. Nice hike up this saguaro-lined canyon/wash up to a ridge that you ascend over to Wasson Peak. You can quickly tell that this trail/mountain is fairly popular with the locals. My friend made a witty observation that Saguaro NP West is like a grown up version of South Mountain, with more greenery in both vegetaion and financing.
