Great day. Overcast with a hint of rain . Patches of snow on the trail. Started at Faraway Ranch to the visitor's center then up the Rhayolite Canyon to Inspiration point. Then back through the heart of rocks and back down. Actually skipped the coolest section of trail, Echo Canyon, because every time I do this loop and get to the extra mile out and back to inspiration point I skip it. It was a goal this time and worth it. This is one of the most scenic hiking areas in the country and well worth the road trip.
