It's very tough to decide which canyon I like better: this one or Finger Rock Canyon. Both are in very scenic canyons with challenging climbs up to sweeping views along the ridge and on the peaks. Though todays experince was lessened just a bit with the overcast weather and chilly breeze up on the ridge. There was still some patches of snow to be found up around the window and the wind was howling thru that opening. I proceeded to explore uphill more around the rocks. I eventually got to a good overlook point on the southside before deciding that I've had enough of the cold and wind. Otherwise I would have explored around Window Peak more, maybe next time. I was also pleasantly suprised to see so many other hikers out making the trek up to the window; must be one of the popular canyons.

On a side note, watch out for the local 'drivers' on that Ina Road. They're weaving all over the place, changing lanes suddenly, cutting across all lanes to make a left, and slamming of the breaks to make a right. :x At least most of the good trails around Tucson are paved to the TH unlike PHX...
