This trail has a lot of foot traffic and this Sunday was no exception. It is a nice hike, but you should combine it with another hike in the area to make the rough 5 mile forest road worth the drive.

The Sterling Pass Trail branches off near the Vultee Arch. Because the Sterling Pass Trail is closed due to the forest fire, you can't hike all the way to 89A as Joe described in the main write up.
