I'm not sure how long it really took us. We did a lot of exploring and picture taking so we took our time! Who would want to hurry through such a beautiful area? We had barely started on the trail, hadn't even made it to the first creek crossing when I almost stepped on a snake! Not a poisonous one, but they can sure scare ya half to death! It was my fault. I was walking on the edge of the trail near the brush. I should have stayed in the middle of the trail and been watching where I stepped. The hike was easy and cool on a warm day, besides just gorgeous! This was our first time to hike in Sedona and we will be back!
