Awesome hike even though the aspen were a hair short of pre-peak colors. I have no idea how many miles we went but we went to a point where there was a break in trees and you could see higher peaks and then turned back. Maybe someone who knows the trail will tell me. The last photo I took before turning back is noted in the set. Seems like we went off the trail a bit to get that view. I took a nap on the rocks in the sun - just divine weather that day.
