Bugs were 2+ annoying at the start of the hike. Grass is waist high in certain areas from all the rains. Temps and wind felt amazing at the top. We saw NO ONE on this hike past the campground and first creek crossing on Labor Day weekend. 2 hrs up and 1h40 down with about an hour in between of lunch and enjoying the day.
