Overnighted it at my favorite sundowner campsite, then hiked to falls next day. Promised myself I would get to head and foot of falls. The head wasn't too bad to get to, must be very careful near the top as it is sloping, with loose dirt and wet rocks right at the falls.
To get to the foot was a nightmarish bushwack that if I ever do this again I will go farther downcanyon until the trail gets the stream again and hike up the stream bed. It can't be worse than the downclimbing and butt sliding I did. Got overheated and didn't get any pics worth anything at the bottom or top. Oh well, the trail itself on the upper end was pure pleasure with some color changes in the understory.
