Part two of my first Rim-to-Rim!

Started out from Phantom at 5:30, startling a ringtail just north of the dorms. Hiking through the Box by the light of the last quarter Moon was magickal. Breakfast where the Box starts to open out; second breakfast at Cottonwood. Took the spur to Roaring Springs and ancountered a lazy pink rattlesnake stretched out across the trail. Roaring Springs to Supai Tunnel the longest three miles I've ever hiked. Above the Tunnel, the photos don't begin to do justice to the fall colors - white-barked aspen with their brilliant yellow leaves, and the little red leaves of the maple(?) littering the ground. Made it to the top before dark, tumbled into my car, and off to a hot shower and dinner!
