Perfect weather, perfect hike! This was my first time hiking to the top of Mt. Union (and my first trip to the summit since 1989). All the leaves were changing on the aspens and the oaks. I never knew gambel oaks could be so colorful! Relaxed on the rocks at the summit, had lunch, and took a butt-load of pictures. Even getting my truck stuck (that makes 21 times this year ) at the trailhead couldn't ruin the sweet high from this hike!
