Beautiful day - good work out - great views. We had lunch at Bell Pass then managed not to sprain anything getting to the peak. Lounged around at the top - then did some bird watching on the way down.

In the hike description, an elevated trail is described from the Bell/104th parking area -- this is more officially labeled now. It's the Levee trail. You follow Levee up to the mines or branch off (at 1.0 mi) to the left on Paradise trail to connect with Gateway Loop. Then a bit further (0.2 mi) Gateway breaks away, but you follow Bell Pass trail to guess where- Bell Pass!
