Access has been turned up a notch. Don't even think of it unless you take a high clearance 4 X 4. The erosion has continued to take its toll on Box Canyon Road, hardly recognizable from several years ago as you approach from Cottonwood Canyon Road. The trip out Box Canyon was pretty good. The structures continue to decay at the Martinez mine and the Adobe House which was standing last year at the residence area is half down. A thrilling, colorful, rough canyon. I see new things each visit.
