Enjoyed taking the 2 hour tour of this wonderland w/ my parents on 02 FEB 2008. This time of year the tour starts at 1 pm. When I go to large art museums for the first time, I make it a rule to take a guided audio tour lest I become overwhelmed. Likewise, w/ over 300 acres and plants from all over the world, one is well-served at Boyce Thompson by joining the guided tour for the initial visit. We also enjoyed the motorcycle ride up here from Tucson. We rode up the 79, stopping at Mount Athos Restaurant & Cafe in Florence--yummy spanakopita--and on 60 east to BT. On the way back we headed down 177 to 77--very scenic, low-traffic, smooth, winding roads. Life is good on foot at the arboretum or riding at the...um...speed limit on Arizona highways!
