Did this hike from Ahwatukee. Up Telegraph, down Ranger, over Bajada, up Alta, down to National, up National, down Telegraph. The roller coasters atop Alta and National left me crawling the last couple hours.

Poppies are busting out all over the ridges. Saw one fiddle neck trying to bust a bloom on the Bajada. Even saw one sprig of lupine debuting on the return. The real show is on the western slopes of Maricopa Peak where the yellow blankets are on display!
