Great hike on a great day on a great trail. This trail is well-designed, well built and well maintained. A pleasure to hike. Hiked clockwise as described in the hike description. Perfect timing for the Fountain Hills Fountain. We have had a lot of rain, and this is about as green as I've seen the McDowells. I like the length, AEG and views on this hike. This could easily become my favorite close to home hike. 3hrs 50min moving 30minutes for photos, Fountain, lunch & rest.
