I wanted to just get to the wildflower area, take some pictures and try to get back down to catch a Core class at the Club. Well I lingered a bit too much and didn't quite get back in an hour.
There were lots of poppies and some lupine showing along with another wildflower (looks like a miniature purple thistle globe). However, we seem to be a ways off from full bloom.
I pulled out my DVD that I made from the Spring of 2005 and it is amazing how much greener it was back then. Plus the brittle brush were blooming their full heads off. But who knows, maybe we'll get that later in the season.
Wildflowers Observation Moderate

Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.
