Return to this area which seems to be wildflower central, and wildlife central this time around. If you can get on some dirt roads away from the mine property and the reservation its'a pretty wild place around there. I walked several ribbon like washes and some hills and it was just amazing with more flowers out. One area must of had thousand's of the blue flowers, more than I have ever seen in one bloom.
Had a rare treat in a desert tortoise who declined my interview efforts, a large buck who posed in the distance, and all sorts of little colorful birds.
My older Panasonic camera which I have been taking the flower pics with I have almost retired, since it works when it wants too. Fortunately found a good deal on the web for the upgraded version ( 18X zoom, supermacro and wide angle) and should have that soon!!
