Another beautiful day to be out hiking. Poppies are minimal on this side of the park, but there are big yellow halo globes of brittle bush.

Ate lunch at the top and lounged around for a while. We weren't in a rush and just enjoyed a perfectly sunny, windy spring day in the desert.

There were a couple dozen military guys (with British accents) carrying heavy packs and jogging the trail.
