Another great hike w/ Tanya! We decided to this backwards and add on a little more than the last time. I'm so glad we did b/c we ran into a pack of about 7 or 8 coyotes. They were gorgeous. This was the 1st time I'd seen them in person. We also came across 2 rangers on horses that were kind enough to offer us maps and info.
It was a gorgeous day for wild flowers too. Lots of lupine and brittle bush. Lots of poppies and scorpion weed too. I'm still amazed at how green it is there.
This is such an easy hike...I'm surprised we don't usually see more runners here.
