I read Joe's triplog and thought I'd give this trail a go. I started a few minutes before 6:00 and finished a few minutes after 9:00. It was pretty windy but a nice hike none the less.There were about eight Turkey Vultures playing in the wind just south of the Needle.One Pine tree between the Needle and Saddle looks good for camping. There was a tent set up west of the trail before the Saddle.
