Hiked with Redroxx and SRedfield. We did a loop from the Willow Creek Trailhead in the Gila Mountain Wilderness. Lots of creeks, lots of pine trees for shade and a good amount of dead fall on the trail from previous fires. We lots the trail a bit, partly because it has been rerouted from what our maps and GPS showed, but with Shawn's help he got us pointed back to main trail. A few sprinkles on and off and some thunder and one flash of lightning that we were too high up for me to enjoy and we were off Jerky Mountain crest quickly. Some early rising and some humid hiking days but it was a good trip with great company.
