Perfect hike for me at 6 months pregnant - plenty of overlooks to stop and catch my breath. A good bit of up and down but very gentle overall. Great weather in the 70's with some wind and threatened rain clouds later in the hike. We went a little past the end of the nature trail markers and had lunch and then turned around.

The wildflowers were really impressive - tons of lupine. I have been to the N Rim twice before, but both times in the Fall. I have never seen cliffrose with blooms - just beautiful!

Saw plenty of birds and even some turkey in the meadow near the trailhead.
