Wally and I started this hike about 6:00. We saw one Tarantula on the drive in but no picture.We hiked up Icehouse Canyon Trail and down Telephone Trail.Overcast until we got in the trees then shade all the way up. Pretty steep hike. Not many switchbacks.Seemed like three fourths of the trail up was in the pines. The way down was half pines then Manzinita(tall) the second half.There were also some Aspen up top and some Walnut or Pecan mixed in.We were only in the the sun the last mile or two.Saw what seemed to be some real fresh Bear crap in the Manzanitas Finished at 10:30. Great hike and workout. Thanks Wally for leading.
