Loy butte to secret Mtn. The views are awsome at the top of secret Mtn. The views along loy butte canyon are ok, comparitively. This is one of the best hikes in sedona. 18.5 miles round trip. 4.5 hours up and 3.5 hours down. Lots of shade from trees throughout the hike. No shade during steep climb before saddle. Possible water in small rock tanks after rain near secret cabin.
