This is a great 4X4 adventure at Canyonlands National Park, Needles District and will get you into some of the best areas of the Needles District. This road is pretty rough and is not recomended for stock vehicles. It can be done however as the photos will attest, if you take your time, use a spotter and have considerable experience in off road travel to guide your route finding on the trail.

At Devils Kitchen there is a great camping area with a handfull of sites tucked up into overhangs and shaded areas between large boulders with a great view of the needles in front of your camp site. There is no water available so bring plenty. There are tables and pit toilets available at this camp site.

We completed a loop trip through Devils Kitchen and then back up and over Elephant Hill before heading north towards Moab that night.
