My first trip to the top of Humphrey's and we couldn't have picked a better day to do it! Not a cloud in the sky the entire day. It's Saturday so it was a zoo, but it also creates a festive sort of atmosphere. We went and saw the B-24 crash site on the way up. Seeing the shards of metal literally boiled onto the mountain's rocks was a testament to the tragedy that took place there. We didn't make it to the top at a very fast pace, but enjoyed the journey to the top. Looking down on the Inner Basin was spectacular and definitely the best view of the hike.
Wildflowers Observation Moderate

Sitting alone, covered in rays
Some things are so my mind can breath
