My wife and I hiked to the Inner Basin of the San Francisco Peaks/Kachina Peaks Wilderness area.

A FANTASTIC HIKE!!!

After arriving at Raspberry Spring, we stopped for lunch and picture taking.

Additionally, we hiked along Waterline Road to an unknown trail that I had read about; I'll call it Sugarloaf Mountain Trail (not the trail to Sugarloaf Mountain peak). The trail is an alternative route back to Lockett Meadow Spring, and provided a loop hike feature to our Inner Basin trek.

The alternative off-trail route to Lockett Meadow Spring provided interesting hiking and viewing of the San Francisco peaks, Interior Valley, Sugarloaf Mountain and the valley.

Travel distance is for loop hike with a couple of side hike adventures.
