Went up SnowBowl Road after work to get in some exercise and check out the aspens. There is some color driving up. Parked at "Aspen Corner" (5.5 miles up) then walked the main trail down to AlfaFia tank. The stand of aspen at the parking area is starting to change. The lower Hart Prairie stand of aspen really haven't changed en masse yet. There are patches of color throughout the San Francisco Peaks. The air is hazy from all the controlled burns in this part of the state--inside Flagstaff city limits, north of Flag on 89, south of Williams, etc.
