| | We stopped here in 2007 and knew we would come back and spend more time. You can walk around the lake in a loop and also walk up to a separate parking area for even bigger views. This lake is not far from Silverton and at 10,800 feet elevation is a nice place to walk/hike/fish/read/relax. You can connect up with a trail to Crater Lake from here, too.
For a third trimester walk this was perfect. I was quite short of breath but the scenery was so beautiful and then we just sat by the water's edge the rest of the afternoon watching the ducks and reading. | | | |
