My first foray into the Muggins Mtns. Wilderness near Yuma. I went with a friend who lives nearby. We just hiked up the wash and singletrack trail a short distance, then turned around and went back. It's pretty interesting, but very dry. My pal said she wants to take me to a more interesting section next month for an overnight backpack. We did see a short slot canyon on this hike also. It is just to the left of the place where most people park their cars.
