I Arrived at the trailhead shortly after 3pm and could tell I was in for a spectacular hike. Just over an hour into the hike, as I was photographing finger rock, a storm blew in and it began to pour. I jogged downhill for about 20 minutes in an attempt to escape the rain (to no avail) until the storm blew past. For the rest of the hike I was treated to amazing views of finger rock bathed in the light of the setting sun as the clouds floated across. Definitely one of my new favorite hikes in the Catalinas.
