A great way to start New Year's Eve with a quick hike up to the Summit and then around the western hump. They've done a lot of trail work so the scree battle isn't nearly as bad. It looks like they've added white spray marks to help guide you to the summit in the steep section. Not too many people out on the trail and very little wildlife. I only saw one lizard.
