| | | A fresh coating of powdery snow made this trip particularly scenic and magical - though I imagine the Red Rock Canyon landscape is always enchanting. Reminded me a bit of Sedona, including the crowds. Melting snow created mud on the "back half" of the hike - very slippery! Wayfinding is very easy, and in places the trail is wide enough to pass people easily. Lots of dogs on the trail - they particularly seemed to love that snow!
Had a great hike and I hope to spend more time in Red Rocks in the future. Lots of great possibilities! | _____________________
