I had the day off work, so I headed down to Phoenix to finalize my new car purchase--finally an end to the "car vs semi" accident that the car lost. I've never been past Mesa on the 60, and have wanted to check out Boyce Thompson after reading Tibber's logs. Not being a desert person, I have to say that the drive was interesting and the arboretum is great! I saw the cardinal couple, but couldn't get a shot of them together. Cudos to Tibber.
