From the Sabino Canyon parking lot I started out east on the Bear Canyon Trail and in 2 minutes turned left onto the Esperero Trail. The sun was just starting to rise over the Rincon's. Made it up the Esperero to the Rattlesnake Junction in 28 minutes. Went down the Rattlesnake Trail #50 to see if any wildflowers were out. Not much this morning. I crossed the road and picked up the Phonelink Link Trail #27A and, bouldered hopped across the creek.
Started up the Link Trail looking for wildflowers. A little Fiddleneck and Fairy Duster were out. Got to the top of the Link Trail and I could already see the traffic coming up the Phoneline. Headed down the Phoneline and BearCanyon trails back to the parking lot. Its 8:35am and the parking lot is almost full already. I'm sure glad I got an early start.
