With great directions (thanks), I made it to Pottery Hill, albeit from the north side up the drainage that leads to the coyote glyph. This place is packed with all types of pottery--like the potter had a temper tantrum! I didn't find the ladle but there is alot of area to explore. The GPS said 6 miles, once I made it back to the car at MP 24. There is an area at about 23.5 miles that cars pull off and park, even though it isn't paved. If I go again, this is where I'll park. I then did the Blue Mesa trail, but the shadows were deep. The area I wanted to photograph needs to be seen in the AM.
